The symbol we have chosen as our logo is the African image “Nldamak” (pronounced Nal- Da- Mak)’ which is Swahili for “ World Ruler”. It is an African belief that education and experience contribute to one’s ability to plan and control one’s destiny. Student Fellowship for Black’s mission is to give educational grants to students of African descent, because it is imperative to our communities’ achieving the education and experience to control our destinies.
